Educator

"The power of imagination activates my professional work and incites my love for teaching."

I am currently on faculty in the acting department of the BFA Musical Theatre program at CAP21/Molloy College teaching courses in Musical Scene Study, Audition TechniqueActing Technique: I, II, and Practicum: Business for Actors. Additionally, I've directed several student productions and have overseen the Senior Practicum and Showcase Semester since 2015.

I've also worked with students in grades K-12 as an educational director and teaching artist with various regional theaters and organizations. With Missoula Children's Theatre, I directed hundreds of students across the country in grades K-12. As a teaching artist, I most frequently work with Premiere Stages and McCarter Theatre Center where I've developed curriculum and taught more than thirty classes and residencies in schools and communities across the state of New Jersey. I frequently devise and adapt scripts for academic performance and have directed over a dozen plays and musicals in educational settings.

Currently, I am developing TheaterWorksUSA's inaugural education programs. So far, our programs have served thousands of students through 30+ classes and virtual performance opportunities across the world during the pandemic and through new in-person programs (2021) that focus on social-emotional development and creative self-expression for students across New York City schools in all five boroughs.
